Who is Nurul Bahirah?

Nurul Bahirah is a Teacher at Rumah Belajar YCAB FOUNDATION and has taught professionally since 2013. When not teaching at the rumah belajar, she spends her time doing her hobbies, reading, and writing, or with her students doing something fun or exploring new things. Having worked in one of the most isolated school in North Aceh for a year supported by Indonesia Mengajar and became an English primary lead teacher at a refugee learning center, Roshan Learning Center, She has a growing concern for education especially for underprivileged children and youth. Moreover, working in a mental hospital named Sanatorium Dharmawangsa, helps her understand mental health issues. She is also an active member of community mental health networks in town. She earned her Bachelor of Social Welfare from Universitas Indonesia.

If she's not somewhere teaching or wandering to an unknown place, you can easily found her reading novels or talking and dreaming with her best-friend, Rizky Syaiful, at their home. She would love to hear from you!
